Farsley Celtic Manager Neil Parsley spoke earlier today to confirm the departures from the club as well as stating that there could be a signing just around the corner.
'We have seen three players leave the club so far over the close season and there has been varying reasons over their departures. Mikey Aspin did really well when he came in late into last year. It was a good signing in the fact that we had lost Aaron Hardy due to injury and Mikey did well in filling that spot. He has decided that the travelling from Blackburn is too much for him and is currently in discussions with clubs closer to home. He has his own business in the Blackburn area and does not want to jeopardise that which we all understand'
'Through no fault of his own Matthew Dempsey had a few injuries last season, which made it a bit of a stop start campaign for him. As a management team we have felt it best that Matthew moves on as we try to make changes to the defensive unit. This will also allow him to gain regular first team football. We wish Matty all the best in the future'
'Adam Priestley was offered terms at Shaw Lane that we simply could not match. Again the Management would like to wish Adam all the best in his new venture'
Parsley also commented that the majority of last seasons squad will be playing for Farsley Celtic next season as well as a new signing that may be just days away from being announced.
As soon as we have details of any signings they will appear here on farsleyceltic.com
Everyone at Farsley Celtic would like to wish Michael, Matthew and Adam all the best in their new ventures.
