Farsley Celtic are pleased to announce that Forward Luke Parkin has agreed to extend his stay with the club for the upcoming season.
The 22-year-old played a significant part in Farsley’s 2017/18 campaign, scoring a total of 10 goals to help the team finish in the play-offs.
We spoke to Luke Parkin to gather his thoughts ahead of another season with Farsley. He told us, “I’m delighted to have signed on again for this season and I can’t wait to get started again.
“Last year was definitely a success despite not winning the play-offs as we had come up from the league below. We did well in the county cup and we can take confidence from that into this season.
“The target is of course being to try and get promotion but again have a good cup run. For myself I hope to score more than I did last season and to give my all for the team which is what I always try and do.”
Luke also told us his thoughts on pre-season, saying, “No doubt pre-season will be tough. We just need to make sure we do things right and are ready to go for that first game in August.”
