We are delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Jack Earing on loan from Halifax Town.

Jack joins us on an initial one-month loan from the Shaymen, and will go straight into the squad for Saturday’s game at home to AFC Telford United.

The Bolton Wanderers Academy product has made 11 appearances for National League side Halifax since joining in the summer, and also spent time on loan at Spennymoor Town earlier in the campaign.

Farsley Celtic Manager Adam Lakeland was delighted to bring the exciting young midfielder in, as he said: “We’re really pleased to have got Jack for a month initially.

“He played against us in the County Cup and we were impressed with his athleticism around the pitch, his technical qualities on the ball, and he’s good in possession over short and longer distances with both feet.

“I did say after the weekend that we’d be looking to get two or three bodies in, Jack’s a player that we’ve got in and we’ll now probably be looking to get another couple of bodies in this time next week once we’ve got the cup replay out of the way.

“Hopefully Jack can come in and get in the team, do well and proves to be a good addition to the squad.”

We would like to give Jack a warm Farsley welcome, and hope he enjoys his time at the club.

You can watch Jack and the rest of the Farsley squad in action this Saturday at the Citadel as we welcome AFC Telford United.
